SSC CGL Notification 2023 Out: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC CGL Exam for the recruitment of Grade “B” and “C” category posts in various Government Ministries, Departments and Offices. SSC CGL 2023 Application Fee
The candidates can proceed to submit the application fee for SSC CGL 2023 either via online mode (through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards) or offline mode (through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan). A candidate must pay Rs. 100/- as to SSC CGL 2023 Online Application Fee. The category wise examination form fee details are given below:

- The required application fee is Rs.100/-
- Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.
- To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
- Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.

SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process [Revised]
SSC CGL 2023 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
1.1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature)
1.2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Paper III for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- All candidates who have applied successfully for SSC CGL exam, will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Card for appearing in the Computer Based Examination (Tier-I).
- Based on the marks scored in Tier-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations.
- Separate cut-offs will be released separately for Paper-II of Tier-II (i.e. for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Paper-III of Tier-II (i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and for Paper-I of Tier-II (i.e. for all other posts).
- Tier-II Examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I.
- In Tier-II, all the candidates will be required to appear in Paper-I, II and Paper-III. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer will be required to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III respectively.

SSC CGL 2023 Notification: Exam Pattern for Tier 1
The first stage in the selection process is an objective computer-based examination. SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 consists of 100 questions, containing 25 questions each from 4 different subjects viz Quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, and general awareness, the questions will be asked from the syllabus of 6th to 10th standard. Candidates can follow the table provided below, to know the examination pattern of the first stage in the selection process.

Staff Selection Commission has revised the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern. Candidates must check the new changes as made in the exam pattern. The SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will be conducted in 3 phases- Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, and Paper III for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.

After clearing different stages of the selection process an aspirant gets selected for a post in a department controlled by the Government of India. SSC CGL 2023 – Result

Step 3: Click on the New User/Register Now link.
Step 4: To begin with the SSC CGL Apply Online 2023, a candidate needs to provide basic details of themselves like name, parents name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form for SSC CGL 2023. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC CGL 2023 exam.
Candidates are required to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC CGL 2023.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photographs and signatures by following the requisites mentioned by the Staff Selection Commission of India.
Photograph – The photograph of a candidate must be clicked in front of white color or light colored background. The size of the photograph must be more than 4 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the photograph must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
Signature – The signature provided by the candidate must be in black or blue ink on the white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature that needs to be submitted must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the image should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.
Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC CGL 2023.
Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC CGL 2023 once to look for any glitches in the form, if any as the application form once submitted cannot be edited again.
Step 9: Click on the Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CGL 2023 application form and pay the required application fee.
