Since our inception in 1998, TRICHYPLUS has been at the forefront of education, training, and skill development in Trichy.

Our Story
TRICHYPLUS was inaugurated by Dr. Jayashankaran, the former Director of BIM, with a vision to bring big-city learning opportunities to the people of Trichy.
Over the past 26 years, we have grown into a multifaceted institution, offering courses ranging from entrance exam coaching (IELTS, GATE, CAT, etc.) to corporate training programs under our flagship product, VERBO-CITY.
Our alumni have gone on to achieve remarkable success in various fields, including students who have secured top ranks in exams like GATE, CAT, and CLAT, and professionals who have joined leading institutions across the globe through our Study Abroad Consultancy.
We are proud to have played a part in shaping the careers of more than 100 students who have joined top institutes like IIMs, FMS, and XLRI, and over 470 students who have secured admissions abroad. Notable alumni include film actor Sivakarthikeyan and film director Arun, who credit TRICHYPLUS as part of their learning journey.

Sivakumar
Sivakumar (Shiv) is an entrepreneur, life coach, author, trainer, and speaker. A Mechanical Engineer from CIT, Coimbatore, and an MBA from FMS, Delhi.
After a decade of an illustrious corporate career, Sivakumar started engaging with the young minds. He started TRICHY PLUS in 1998 & has 24 years of experience in the field of coaching & education consultancy. He has guided lakhs of students & individuals through his talks, training programs & communication workshops. Shiv has conducted hundreds of free career guidance programs for school/college students.
Shiv along with his wife Savitri has authored ‘S & S Family First’ a Number #1 Bestseller on Amazon India in 6 different categories. He is a Family Success Coach & is on a mission to give families paradigm shifts. He addresses families, individuals, institutions & organizations on Topics like Health, Finance, Parenting, Relationship, & Intimacy.
Shiv is a Professional Speaker & has spoken on various National & International platforms like Rotary, WICCI, Yi, CII, Toastmasters & PSAI among others. He has been featured in ‘The Hindu’, Times of India, Life Positive & Indian Express among others.
A Distinguished Toastmaster – Shiv has bagged several awards in International Speech contests representing his home club at various levels.
Founder & MD of FAMILY FIRST TRUST – to create Internet-based learning for underprivileged kids.
Shiv is a Yoga practitioner & a Vipassana meditator. He loves Reading, Traveling, Blogging, solving Maths Puzzles & Strength Training. He has recently acted in 2 popular Tamil movies.

Savitri
Savitri Sivakumar (Savy) is on a mission to elevate the consciousness of society by building up families. A psychology graduate from Delhi University & an MBA, she has 24 years of experience in the field of coaching & education consultancy. She has guided lakhs of students & individuals through her talks, training programs & communication workshops. Savy has conducted hundreds of free career guidance programs for school/college students.
